11/7/25-11/9/25: A three-day no-code/low-code data science workshop instructed by El Camino College students, who adapted and replicated the DS4ALL workshop for their community college peers.

Data Science, AI, and ML for Biology
From 7/21 to 7/23, 2025, together with UCLA and UCSD colleagues, we used the Texera platform to teach 17 biology students data science, AI, and ML as part of a dkNet data science bootcamp. It’s the first time we deployed the whole system on AWS with auto-scaling!
Data Science for Middle School Students
7/21/2025: we taught 32 middle school students data science, AI, and ML using Texera.
Cerritos Workshop: Data Science for Everyone
11/16/2024 and 11/23/2024: A two-day workshop designed for non-CS students to learn data science and ML without a single line of coding. The workshop was hosted on two Saturdays in Nov 2024.
DS4Bio: Data Science for Bio Engineering Applications
11/13/2024: As part of a six-week hybrid program that introduces data science concepts to engineering undergraduate students, we taught students data science in bio engineering.
ICS 80: Data Science and AI/ML Using Workflows
Spring 2024: In this course at UCI, we taught 42 undergraduates, most of whom are not computer science majors, to learn data science and AI/ML.
